Two hundred twenty five years ago Dr. Benjamin Rush, patriot, war hero, and one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, wrote:

Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship.
These are strong words by one of our visionary founding fathers. Is it possible that some of our current realities begin to resemble what Dr. Rush described? Mainstream medicine has shown itself to have little or no tolerance for differing medical views. Yet, as individuals we should have the right to choose the practitioners and healing modalities we prefer.
